The gavel dropped on the latest Auction Your Cask, live, dedicated cask auction on Friday, April 23rd and it was yet another roaring success! The bidding wars got quite heated, especially when it came to the ever-sought-after Springbank…
 
Echoing our previous auctions that have featured entries from the popular distillery, the 1994 Springbank Sherry Hogshead was the main attraction, selling for a rather remarkable £71,000 (hammer price)! There was a lot of last-minute bidding and most casks reached their reserve price.
 
Other highlights included the 1996 Ben Nevis which sold for £30,000, the 2012 Glenrothes selling for £6,250, the 2014 Glenrothes for £4,800 and the 2015 Tullibardine which went for £4,000. The majority of the remaining casks will be sold privately to buyers following the auction.
